Chase Claypool Finds End Zone Four Times In Breakout
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool had a massive game in a 38-29 win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. Claypool caught seven of his 11 targets for 110 yards and three touchdowns and added three rushes for six yards and a fourth touchdown in the big win. The rookie wideout was easily the team's leading receiver on an afternoon where Pittsburgh lost Diontae Johnson to a back injury during the first half. Johnson's injury may have led to Claypool seeing more usage, but it will be tough for Pittsburgh to return him to a complementary role after his Week 5 explosion. Claypool is a priority waiver target this week as the Steelers gear up to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.
