Chase Claypool Goes For 45 Yards In Win
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught three of his five targets for 45 yards in a 23-16 win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, while also adding a 25-yard rush. Claypool was quiet for most of the game, finishing third in receiving behind JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson, but the entire Pittsburgh offense struggled for much of the game before turning it on in the fourth quarter. Bigger days are ahead for Claypool, although his Week 1 performance is a reminder that he is going to have some down weeks thanks to the crowded receivers room in Pittsburgh. Claypool does draw a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2.
