Chase Claypool Sees Two Touches In Preseason Finale
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool caught one of two targets for 18 yards and added an 11-yard rush in a 34-9 loss to the Carolina Panthers in a preseason game on Friday. Claypool got the start and played into the second quarter, although he was only lightly used as quarterback Dwayne Haskins struggled to move the ball against Carolina in the first half. The good news is that Claypool showed no lingering effects of the ankle tweak that he suffered in practice a couple of weeks back. He is squarely on the board as a WR2 in fantasy with the potential to be even more if he takes another step forward in his second season in the NFL.
