Chase Claypool Still Ahead Of George Pickens

2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has impressed this summer, but he still has a ways to go to catch Chase Claypool, even with Claypool being banged up throughout training camp. Claypool has moved inside more than ever this summer, especially in three-receiver sets, which could diminish his yards-per-catch average. Because he'll see more opportunities, Claypool's numbers should be better than Pickens' in 2022. But Pickens is a great red-zone and deep-ball receiver who could put up better numbers than expected. Pickens has been rising on fantasy draft boards because of his impressive training camp, but Claypool is still the better bet as a late-round WR4/5 selection in single-year leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
