6 years agoChicago Bears backup quarterback Chase Daniel completed 27 of 37 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears 23-16 win over the Lions on Thanksgiving. The veteran backup was thrust into action on a short week due to the shoulder injury to Mitch Trubisky. Daniel got off to a slow start but was able to put together three scoring drives in the game and his best throws of the day came on both of his touchdown passes. Trubisky is expected to return next week to take on the Giants, sending Daniel back to the bench.--Joey C - RotoBaller
