3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chase De Jong allowed five runs on nine hits over five innings of work with three strikeouts in an 8-0 loss to Colorado on Tuesday night. De Jong got no help from his offense, as they were limited to one hit on the night, and he now drops to 0-3 on the season with a 5.65 ERA over 28 2/3 innings of work. He's looked solid in a couple outings, but has been way too inconsistent to really be trusted at the moment. In deeper NL-only formats, he could be worth considering as a streaming option if he gets a favorable matchup.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
