Chase Edmonds Limited On First Injury Report
2 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Chase Edmonds (groin) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday on the team's first injury report of the 2022 regular season. Myles Gaskin (neck) and Salvon Ahmed (heel) were also limited Wednesday. The Dolphins are likely just managing a minor groin issue for Edmonds, so barring any setbacks later this week, he should serve as the team's primary back for a Week 1 matchup against the New England Patriots. The presence of Raheem Mostert as a potential touchdown vulture will keep Edmonds' fantasy ceiling capped in his first year in Miami, but he's clearly the team's most intriguing fantasy back and should be deployed as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3 in the regular season opener.
