Chase Edmonds Plays Well Enough On Sunday
3 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Chase Edmonds ran for 46 yards off eight carries during Sunday's narrow victory over the Minnesota Vikings. Although that statistical output on its own clearly would have been a disappointment for fantasy managers, the 25-year-old made amends, at least in PPR formats, by pulling in five catches for 29 yards. This type of production has been the norm for Edmonds this season, who continues to split carries with James Conner. Although he isn't a reliable fantasy option most of the time, he should have his moments moving ahead, which may come as early as Week 3 against Jacksonville. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues who need a back should give Edmonds some serious consideration as a viable starting option as a result.
