Chase Elliott Ends Up Fourth In The Poconos
5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott had to settle for fourth place in Sunday's Pocono 400 and he ended up leading two laps. It was an improvement from his starting spot of 12th. Elliott will now move on to the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway next Sunday. He has never won the fuel-mileage run in the Irish Hills, but he also has never finished lower than ninth in six career Cup starts, posting an Average-Finish Position of 5.33, including three straight runner-up finishes in both 2016 races and the spring 2017 run.
