3 years agoAfter winning the rain-shortened road race in Texas, Elliott qualifies in third for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver looked to have that confidence back after it had been gone for so long. The No. 9 Chevy inched out fellow teammate William Byron and was just behind Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Larson. Elliott in his last four races at Charlotte has won once and has an average result of 4.5 (tied for the best).
