3 years agoChase Elliott and road courses are a match made in heaven. At the Charlotte ROVAL, the No. 9 car has won twice in three appearances. He led 27 laps last year on the way to victory and has led 18.96% of the laps overall. His driver rating of nearly 125 is the best of all drivers on the Charlotte course. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver just can run away with the lead on this track. Speed intervals the past three years suggest that as much, especially in the final long run. Elliott does start eighth on Sunday but the expectation is that he moves up the field quickly.
