3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns did not tender kicker Chase McLaughlin, according to a source. McLaughlin will now become an unrestricted free agent and is free to sign with any team on the open market. It shouldn't come as a surprise after McLaughlin made just 15 of his 21 field-goal attempts (71.4%) in 16 games for the Browns last season. On the bright side, he missed only one of his 37 extra-point attempts on the year. The 25-year-old has kicked for six teams already in his first three NFL seasons, and his 75.5% success rate on 49 field-goal tries just isn't going to cut it.
