4 years agoCheyanne Buys (5-1) will make her UFC debut after a successful showing in her Contender Series matchup in August of last year. With her husband JP Buys competing on the undercard, Cheyanne will hope the couple can go 2-0 on the night. Buys is currently on a four-fight winning streak, including wins in LFA and EFC Worldwide. After winning her professional debut by knockout, the rest of her four victories have come by decision. Her opponent, Montserrat Ruiz, will be making her UFC debut, so Buys will bank on her Contender Series experience inside the Octagon for a leg up on the competition.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
