3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Chi Chi Gonzalez took the loss on Tuesday when he allowed five runs on eight hits over just 1 1/3 innings in a 12-3 defeat at the hands of the San Francisco Giants. This was a forgettable day for Gonzalez and the Rockies as he never stood a chance. He coughed up five runs over just 1 1/3 innings while the Giants notched eight hits. The poor outing made his already inflated ERA balloon to 6.50 for the year. He pairs that with an ugly 1.53 WHIP and 55:28 K/BB ratio over 99 2/3 innings (23 appearances, 18 starts). He's slated to start against the Phillies on the road in his next turn and obviously has no fantasy value.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
