4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jake Marisnick (calf) is expected to make his Cactus League debut between March 13-15, as he has dealt with a calf setback to this point. Marisnick saw extremely limited time with the Mets last season, but he impressed in the at-bats that he was given, collecting a 159 OPS+ across 16 games. Known for his defensive acumen and speed, Marisnick has been positioned as Chicago's fourth outfielder, which knocks him from season-long consideration. But after five of his 11 hits went for extra bases in 2020, he could be an appealing early-season DFS candidate on starting occasions.
