6 years agoWith the 27th pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, the Chicago Blackhawks selected defenseman Nicolas Beaudin from the Drummondville Voltigeurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Weighing in at 5-foot-11 and 172 pounds, Beaudin will stay with the Voltigeurs for next season and continue his development in the QMJHL. He is described as a very mobile defenseman who has a great breakout pass and looks to be an offensive-defenseman type. He was quoted that he models his game after Jake Gardiner. He should not be owned in any redraft formats.--Caden Inaba
