Chiefs Give Tyreek Hill Permission To Seek Trade
3 years agoContract-extension talks between the Kansas City Chiefs and wide receiver Tyreek Hill have stalled, despite an offer from the Chiefs that would make him one of the highest-paid receivers. As a result, the Chiefs have given Hill's agent permission to seek a trade, according to sources. Multiple teams have already engaged in trade talks for Hill, and the expectation is the Chiefs would get a massive haul for one of the league's most dynamic weapons. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins are in serious talks to acquire Hill. The 28-year-old speedster has made the Pro Bowl each of his six seasons in the NFL and had a career-high 111 receptions on 159 targets for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021. A trade to either New York or Miami would cause Hill to lose substantial fantasy appeal.
