3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran free-agent running back Ronald Jones II on Wednesday, according to a league source. The Chiefs are looking for available free agents after sending star wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins in a blockbuster trade on Wednesday. Both Jerick McKinnon and Darrel Williams are free agents, which leaves Derrick Gore as the primary backup to Clyde Edwards-Helaire right now. Jones, a former second-round pick by the Bucs in 2018, has mostly been a disappointment in fantasy. He had 101 carries for 428 yards and four touchdowns last year, adding 10 catches for 64 yards in 16 games (three starts). The 24-year-old could have a higher fantasy ceiling in KC, but it would depend on whether the Chiefs re-sign one or both of McKinnon and Williams.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
