Chiefs Working On Extension For Tyreek Hill
3 years agoThe Kansas City Chiefs are working on a contract extension for wide receiver Tyreek Hill, with the structure of the deal expected to be more "normal" than last time. This would be Hill's third contract with the Chiefs. The 28-year-old is scheduled to count $20.685 million against this year's salary cap and is entering the final season of a three-year extension that he signed back in 2019. A new deal for Hill would lower the team's salary cap this year and allow them to bolster an already strong offense. Hill has been a Pro Bowler in each of his six seasons in the NFL with KC and has also been named a first-team All-Pro three times. He posted a 1,000-yard receiving season for the fourth time in 2021 and added nine touchdowns on 111 catches in 17 regular season games.
