6 years agoSince moving to the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Tampa Bay Rays, starting pitcher Chris Archer has been much worse. In his five games with the Pirates he hasn't pitched more than five innings in any contest. That's due mostly to allowing at least five hits in each of those games. He hasn't thrown a shutout game yet regardless of how many innings he has pitched. Archer is regarded as a great talent, but he has a 6.45 ERA in August. That brings him to a 4.72 ERA on the season. With the amount of time left this year, it may not be wise to start Archer in fantasy unless he has a very favorable matchup.--Blake Sullivan
