4 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer (forearm) is playing catch, but is still likely a couple weeks away from returning to the rotation, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Archer was placed on the injured list almost two weeks ago with forearm tightness, after exiting his last start in the middle of the third inning. Over 4 1/3 innings this season, Archer has allowed four runs — three earned — and six strikeouts.
