3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt fired seven innings of shutout ball with seven strikeouts to earn his 11th win of the season Friday at the Angels. Bassitt scattered six hits and only walked one batter in his latest strong outing. The 32-year-old has been excellent this season as his 3.28 ERA is supported by a 3.59 xERA and he's averaging over a strikeout-per-inning for the first time in his career.
