Chris Bassitt Ineffective In Short Start At Seattle On Tuesday
3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt allowed one earned run in 3 1/3 innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Tuesday night. Bassitt was lucky to only allow the one run as he walked three and allowed three hits before being removed with runners on base in the fourth inning. The fact Bassitt is back on the mound after taking a line drive to the face is admirable, but he hasn't been as effective as he was prior to getting hurt. Bassitt has thrown less than 70 pitches in both of his starts back and takes on a tough Houston lineup on Sunday. He can be avoided in fantasy for that start.
