4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt threw 6 2/3 shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a win over the Giants Friday. Bassitt allowed just three hits and three walks while improving his record to 5-2 on the season. Bassitt isn't the flashiest arm for fantasy as his strikeout rate is just 20.8 percent, but he's been effective allowing just one run in his last three starts combined.
