5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Chris Bassitt surrendered four runs on five hits across six innings of work during Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Houston Astros. He struck out seven batters while walking none. Had Bassitt been able to avoid the long ball, it could have been a great start. Unfortunately, George Springer and Jose Altuve both hit two-run home runs in the contest. Bassitt owns a 7-5 record on the season to go along with a 4.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, and 90/36 K/BB rate. He'll have another tough test in his next projected start against the heavy-hitting Milwaukee Brewers.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
