3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt will make the start on Sunday in the series finale with the Indians, according to Shayna Rubin of the Mercury News. Bassitt pitched in the All-Star Game on Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on two walks and one hit while striking out one in one inning of work. He's been having a very good year on the mound so far, going 10-2 with a 3.28 ERA, 1.051 WHIP and 24.5 percent strikeout rate across 118 innings of work.
