Chris Carson Plans To Ramp Up Practicing After Bye Week
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (neck) is "planning on practicing" as soon as his team finishes its bye week, head coach Pete Carroll revealed Monday. While Carroll did mention the possibility of Carson returning to face Green Bay in Week 10, he simultaneously pumped the brakes, noting that Carson faces a battery of tests before he can return to game action due to the nature of his injury. Sidelined since Week 4, Carson has been the bell cow of the Seattle backfield when healthy; without him, it's been primarily Alex Collins who has led the group. The Carson situation will be one to ramp up interest in monitoring next week as his return to the field would be a boon for season-long managers.
