5 years agoWhile Chris Carson is expected to open the season as the lead running back for the Seattle Seahawks, head coach Pete Carroll has said that he isn't sure who will be the lead back between Carson and second-year runner Rashaad Penny and that the situation could change on a week-to-week basis. It's worth monitoring this situation as the season approaches, but if neither player is able to claim the lead back duties, this backfield is heading towards being a volatile and disappointing one for fantasy owners, especially in dynasty leagues where Penny's value would take a sharp drop if he's not able to establish himself as a lead back over his first two seasons.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
