Chris Carson, Travis Homer Ruled Out For Thursday’s Contest
4 years agoSeattle Seahawks running backs Chris Carson (foot) and Travis Homer (knee, thumb) have both officially been ruled inactive for Thursday's game against the Cardinals, paving the way for the duo of Carlos Hyde and DeeJay Dallas to handle the backfield load. Carson's absence will now stretch into a fourth week, as he will have ample time to recover ahead of a Week 12 matchup versus Philadelphia next Sunday. Homer, who had seen an increased role with Carson and Hyde absent in recent weeks, will miss his first game of the year and can safely be returned to the waiver wire in all season-long formats. Hyde should lead the Seattle rushing attack, but how effective he'll be in his first game action since Week 7 remains to be seen. Alex Collins and Bo Scarbrough could also be mixed in. He rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown against Arizona earlier this year, making him a safe floor selection in both single-game DFS and season-long formats as a flex.
