Chris Carson Won't Play Sunday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that running back Chris Carson (neck) won't come off Injured Reserve to play in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. "We don't feel like it's time yet, so we're going to keep him out," Carroll said. Carson has been out since Week 4, but he returned to practice this week and could be back in Week 11. Alex Collins, who has been the team's primary RB since Carson went on IR, hasn't done a ton for fantasy managers this year, but he will have more upside as an RB3/flex in Week 10 with quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) returning to lead Seattle's offense. The 27-year-old has 61 carries for 227 yards (3.72 yards per carry) and one touchdown on the ground and four catches on five targets for 31 yards through the air in his four starts with Carson out.
