2 years agoPreviously undefeated in the Octagon, Chris Daukaus took his first UFC loss in Saturday's main event by taking a first-round knockout loss to Derrick Lewis. Sticking and moving early in the contest, the bout was lost when Daukaus got into close-quarter exchanges with the beast that is Lewis. In 3:36 of action, Daukaus landed only 10 significant strikes while absorbing 14 from Lewis. There are plenty of big wins left for Daukaus in his career, but fighting at the top of the division will make it tough for him to earn big finishes.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
