7 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis will sit (rest) Sunday against the Rays. The Orioles will face left-hander Blake Snell, and Davis is hitting an abysmal .129 against lefties this season, so he will head to the bench. Davis has failed to provide the power that makes him appealing in fantasy, having hit only four home runs through 37 games (a mere 18 HR pace). For someone who doesn't hit for average and strikes out often, Davis is useless to fantasy players unless he can get the pop back in his bat.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
