Chris Davis Snaps Hitless Streak, Plates Four Runs Saturday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis had a victorious game in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Red Sox. The 33-year-old went 3-for-5 with a single, two doubles, and four RBI. Davis ended his streak of 53 consecutive plate appearances without a hit in his first at-bat, hitting an RBI single into right field. Unfortunately, Davis is not the fantasy asset he once was and is now hitting just .079 on the season. He should not be considered by fantasy players, although it was nice to see him end his historic slump.
