Chris Ellis Turns In Decent Start Monday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Chris Ellis turned in an encouraging start in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Blue Jays. Ellis pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing a single run on two hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with two strikeouts. The 28-year-old has made just three appearances this season but has a 3.09 ERA to show for it. If he slots into the rotation again he would face the Yankees on the road. Fantasy managers should not trust Ellis at this point in the season with such a small sample size.
