4 years agoChris Fishgold (18-3-1) has not been in the Octagon since a June 2019 anaconda choke loss to Makwan Amirkhani. Since leaving Cage Warriors, the English submission specialist has faced some of the toughest the division has to offer. In his UFC debut, he battled Calvin Kattar, who is now ranked sixth in the featherweight division. Fishgold is dangerous on the mat with 13 of his 18 victories coming by submission. The lone UFC victory of his three attempts was a second-round, rear-naked choke defeat of David Teymur in February of 2019. Fishgold has a very high 8.70 takedown attempts per contest.
