Chris Flexen Allows Only One Run Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen was very sharp Tuesday, allowing just one run on four hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings of work. He struck out six batters. Flexen has now delivered quality starts in four of his last five outings, and he holds a 6-3 record for the year with a 3.87 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 50 strikeouts in 74 1/3 innings. The strikeout rate leaves a lot to be desired, but the run prevention is good enough to warrant consideration for deeper fantasy formats.
