3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen earned a win on Sunday, increasing his record to 7-3 by throwing six innings and only allowing one run on four hits and no walks. He also struck out five batters. It was his seventh quality start of the year, and he's been especially good over his last seven starts with a 2.62 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. His strikeout rate continues to sit quite low, with just 57 in 85 1/3 innings for the year, limiting his fantasy potential. He's well worth a short-term add in good matchups, but he isn't a roster lock in many formats.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
