Chris Flexen Exits After Six Innings With Quality Start
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen (hamstring) was removed after just 74 pitches Saturday, having delivered a quality start. He allowed two runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts. Flexen later said he wasn't feeling very comfortable on the mound in the last few innings. It remains to be seen whether Flexen misses any time, but he did not seem overly concerned. For the year, Flexen has a 10-5 record with a 3.78 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 85 strikeouts in 126 1/3 innings. He's a safe fantasy option despite his lack of whiffs.
