Chris Flexen Gives Up Seven Runs Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen had a poor outing Tuesday night, allowing seven runs on nine hits and no walks to the Houston Astros in four innings of work. He also struck out three batters, and was saddled with his fifth loss of the year. Flexen offers very little in the way of strikeouts, so run prevention is key in maintaining his fantasy value. With a 3.81 ERA and 1.25 WHIP on the season, he's best used as a streaming option in favorable matchups or two-start weeks.
