Chris Godwin A Low-End WR1 To Start Season
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin is a low-end WR1 for Week 1 of the season against Dallas. Godwin remains a top receiving option for QB Tom Brady alongside Mike Evans. In 12 games last year, the Penn State product still managed 65 receptions for 840 yards and seven scores on 84 targets. It's worth noting that Godwin was added to the injury report with a quad issue, but there is no reason to believe he is in danger of missing the contest. His situation is worth monitoring but he does have a chance to post excellent numbers against a Cowboys squad that allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to wideouts last season.
