Chris Godwin a Solid Start if DeSean Jackson Sits

6 years agoBuccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin will be in for a sizeable workload if DeSean Jackson (concussion) were to miss this Sunday's game. Jackson was dealing with a concussion after last Sunday's slaughtering in New Orleans but was seen doing drills at practice Thursday. Despite the practice, Jackson remains questionable to play Sunday against Philadelphia which leaves the door open for Godwin to seen an increase in targets. Godwin received a decent share of looks last weekend and even managed to score a touchdown, but remains a tertiary option at best in a loaded Tampa offense. The Eagles are a daunting matchup for any opposing team but are not impossible to exploit. Godwin is a great FLEX play if Jackson is declared out.
