Chris Godwin Dons Non-Contact Jersey At Practice

2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee) has cleared another hurdle in his attempt to return to action, getting to suit up for 11-on-11 work during Monday's practice. The veteran receiver rocked a non-contact jersey and participated in run plays, a progression from his 7-on-7 work earlier this month. Godwin was able to amass 98 receptions and 1,103 receiving yards last season despite having his year cut short due to the torn ACL he is in the midst of rehabbing. Tampa Bay hasn't made an official call on one of quarterback Tom Brady's favorite targets for Week 1 against Dallas, but fantasy managers can anticipate some snap restrictions in the early portion of the year.--Jesse Borek
