Chris Godwin Ruled Out Against Saints

2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (hamstring) didn't practice all week and has officially been ruled out for the Week 2 divisional clash against the New Orleans Saints. Left tackle Donovan Smith (elbow) is also doubtful after not practicing all week. Godwin is no lock to return in Week 3 after injuring his hamstring in the season-opening win over the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday night. The Bucs are extremely banged up at the position, with Mike Evans (calf), Julio Jones (knee) and Russell Gage (hamstring) all questionable as well. All three of Evans, Jones and Gage were able to practice on Friday, though, so they are trending in the right direction to serve in three-receiver sets on Sunday against New Orleans.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
