3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers and wide receiver Chris Godwin (knee) are reportedly close to a new deal. According to the Pewter Report, an agreement hasn't been finalized yet, but both sides are "close" to a new contract. He is one of the top available pass catchers in free agency and had surgery to fix the ACL and MCL in his right knee in early January. The 26-year-old set career highs with 98 catches and 127 targets for 1,103 yards and five touchdowns over 14 games in 2021.
