Chris Herndon IV Doesn't Play Despite Being Active
5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Chris Herndon IV was active for the Jets Sunday, but didn't see the field as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. Herndon had been practicing on a limited basis and was declared active before the game, but it was the Ryan Griffin show again at tight end with the latter making six catches while Herndon IV stood idly on the sideline. Herndon IV not playing calls into question why he was even active if he is not fully recovered from the hamstring injury. Fantasy owners are now left to wonder if and when they'll get anything from the sophomore tight end, especially with Griffin playing well the last two weeks. Herndon IV should be stashed in deeper leagues but is far from a must-own fantasy asset at this point.
