Chris Herndon Serving Last Game Of Suspension Sunday
5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Chris Herndon is serving the last game of his four-game suspension Sunday and will be eligible to rejoin the team next week. Herndon was suspended for violating the league's substance abuse policy and had to sit out an extra week due to the Jets Week 4 bye, but now is the time to go pick up the sophomore tight end. In 2018 Herndon made 39 catches on 56 targets and caught four touchdowns while establishing himself as a favorite target of fellow rookie Sam Darnold. Darnold is back at practice and expected to play in Week 6, so the Jets offense should look better and owners who need help at tight end should pick up Herndon before waivers run this week.
