4 years agoNew York Rangers left wing Chris Kreider notched his third regular season hat trick in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to Philadelphia. He reached eight goals for the season with a pair of power-play markers and one even-strength tally. Kreider had four total shots with three hits and one block in 19:36 of ice time. The 29-year-old hasn't done much this year, but the team really needs for him to step up with Artemi Panarin (personal) missing. He'll be battling Boston in the next pair of games, which likely won't bring him much joy, as the Bruins are among the league's top defensive teams with a 2.25 goals-against average.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
