3 years agoNew York Jets kicker Chris Naggar was cut by the organization earlier this week. He was battling with Matt Ammendola for the kicker spot in New York. Naggar struggled during training camp and that carried over into the preseason. He connected on 1-for-2 field goal attempts during their preseason matchup with the New York Giants. Possibly, Naggar gets a chance elsewhere, but don't expect him to have much fantasy value. It sounds like Ammendola has won the kicker job. Ammendola is an undrafted kicker out of Oklahoma State. He spent time with the Carolina Panthers, but never saw any game action. Fantasy managers shouldn't bank on the young kicker being reliable.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
