Chris Paddack Fans 11 In Strong Outing
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Chris Paddack fanned a season-high 11 batters in five innings of work Friday against the Cincinnati Reds, collecting his fourth victory. The right-hander permitted six harmless singles and a walk before exiting after 87 pitches. Paddack has pitched well after a rough April and dropped his ERA to 4.10 with a 1.18 WHIP and 24 percent strikeout rate over 63 ⅔ frames. Back on the radar as an SP4, the 25-year-old draws a tough matchup next Wednesday against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers at Petco Park.
