4 years agoSan Diego Padres starter Chris Paddack allowed two runs (none earned) across six innings in Sunday’s victory against the Colorado Rockies. Spotted three runs before his first pitch, Paddack cruised to eight strikeouts, allotting five knocks and a walk. It’s a very encouraging start in a tough spot for the 24-year-old, who was pummeled for six earned runs his last outing. Struggling with his fastball all season, Paddack was in control Sunday. He holds a disappointing 4.43 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 8.9 K/9 through eight starts. He’ll face the Oakland Athletics on the road next weekend and should be viewed as an SP3.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
